How the free trial works

Upload a PDF, Word document, or text file up to 15 pages. Ask one question in plain English — about a clause, a number, a deadline, anything the document contains. Docly reads the file and answers with a citation pointing to the exact section it used, so you can verify the answer against the original text yourself instead of taking it on faith.

This trial session is free, requires no account, and the document is never stored — it exists only in memory for the length of your question and is discarded afterward. If you want more than one question, or want to keep asking questions about documents over time, a free account adds ten more questions a month at no cost.

Docly works well for freelance contracts, leases, insurance policies, employee handbooks, financial reports, research papers, and textbooks — any document you would otherwise have to read start to finish just to find one answer.
